In 2007 Oracle Chambers started a small revolution in the provision of legal services in Scotland, simply by breaking away from tradition. Worried by the long lines of communication and the perceived remoteness of lawyers, the two founding members, then both Advocates, saw that customers almost always prefer to know who they are dealing with, and to see that they are getting value for money.
Unique in their approachability, Oracle’s lawyers provide tailor-made advocacy and commercially orientated solutions for their clients, from business, the public, and central and local government.
Oracle’s members have acquired skills in dispute resolution of all sorts, from traditional litigation to mediation, and always prefer to help their clients to help themselves. Since it is critical today to be sensitive about both costs and the methods of dispute resolution, Oracle prides itself on devising and implementing solutions for disputes which reflect their value, importance and difficulty.
Oracle’s members believe strongly in facilitating direct access to their expertise from across the professional spectrum, and look forward to the day when the legal professions finally dismantle the remaining barriers to a free market in legal services.
